Generally these companies employ MANY property managers that are far from exceptional and are juggling the management of a long list of properties.

More balls to juggle, but the ROI potential is better.The more I am investigating it, I think I would rather try and do a BRRRR on it.

Managing from a distance and being hands-off, especially when juggling day-to-day tasks, is something I'm familiar with.

Now, property types: single-family homes bring in more cash but need more TLC, multi-family setups offer variety but can be a bit of a juggle, and condos or townhouses are budget-friendly but might have some HOA quirks.

Imagine trying to manage several hotel rooms 24/7 365 where you have to constantly juggle your calendar for guests and you have to move their move-in dates forwards, backwards, and they cancel and you need to get new guests to fill those dates.The regulations for STR's are always changing and you are at the risk of not being to use the place for an STR.

The only issue I see with being a realtor and loan officer at the same time is that to be successful you need to devote your time 110% to one or the other.I have known many people who have gotten both licenses and tried to juggle both sides.
