You don't want to own a ditch, a road, power line right of way, etc.  

I’m already tired of the maintenance and sharing my space.Quickly find someone to marry, and ditch the renters for 2 years before selling.Add onto and convert my office into a proper cottage where I can live in solitude while renting out the main house, unfurnished.

So glad my wife pulled me away before falling into a deeper ditch and letting the pros handle it. 

So long story short has anyone here ever gone back to W2 income to get the ball rolling on financing deals and then ditch the gig once its running smoothly.

Currently listening to the guy who owns the house across the street from me empty the garage of all the crap the past (totally unscreened and total trash) tenants left behind when they ditched their lease 4 months early.

In the meantime, focus only on: a) learning the trade by working for those who do it for a living, and b) building up some cash reserves and a solid credit history.Biggest advice I can give you though is to ditch the 'gurus'.

Not to mention if you (or someone else) was standing in hand-dug ditches 7-9 feet deep, that's pretty dangerous because I'm certain you weren't using a trench box.
