I'd start with the 'Ultimate Beginner's Guide'.If you do a 'Search' for Real Estate License you'll get lots of interesting opinions on the benefits of having a license in the blog posts as well as the forums, the biggest drawback probably being that it might distract you from getting started investing.

Ultimately, the time and energy I was putting in to learning and analysis of my ad campaigns was distracting me from learning more about real estate and developing my DM campaign.

I allowed that to distract me from contacting the lender which I will do tomorrow.

i'm bangin my head on the wall now for letting their security deposit get used for the month before last but it was the holidays, i was distracted by my own relocation in the works, plus thought they were  already one foot out the door just needed the final push but now both/all feet back in =L

I'd encourage you to read through The Ultimate Beginner's Guide on here and to pick a strategy and learn what you need for the first step and then do that step as opposed to trying to learn everything you need to know at once - that can get overwhelming and distracting.

I have serious concerns at the distraction during a 15 minute tour. 

Three properties like this is no different than not having any properties at all, except they distract you from finding real deals.

Working for a "fee" manager (who manages property they don't own) would be fine too, but that comes with a lot of distraction and activity that you won't get value from based on your goals.

Not big into social media due to it being a distraction, but it'll have to change to get more networking.
