For me an LLC would be a complete and utter waste of money, and much much worse yet, it could easily lull one into running an activity sloppily and carelessly because hey why not "I'm bullet proof aren't I?". 

That said, he is very supportive and also has a tough and physically demanding day job, so I can understand why he doesn't have as much energy or enthusiasm for this as I do. 

I used to waste time and energy trying to figure out why they were lying, but every time it just ended in a reason to deny them.

I just want to be on the side of solutions and to not waste my energy maintaining a status quo that I'm not proud to advocate for.
