First, when it comes to the Bay Area, I think the correlation between the tech industry and housing prices is much stronger than the correlation with any race or nationality. 

I've recently made the leap to starting making my dream a reality -- leaving the rat race, building wealth through careful procurement of BRRRR properties, and doing my best to providing quality units at a price my tenants and I can be happy with.Some background on me -- I work in IT Consulting and I like it, but I'm looking to stop working for others and start working for myself.

There's work here in NY, but it's too far a commute.So for small towns, I'll have to check and see if it's a one horse town.

Maybe I'm making the idea of MF investing harder than it actually is or maybe I'm putting the cart before the horse and need some SFH deals under my belt before the MF.  

We worked in the rat race living paycheck to paycheck.  

Like I've said, put the horse in front of the cart. :)

I'm Aaron, a 20 year old guy who sees the tax-race for what it is and WANTS OUT!

I'm married with 3 kids and want to eventually get out of the rat race and spend more time at home.
