The same way a $1 has less food purchasing power now is exactly why paying back over time is a great idea.  

I am selling a home and a buyer is saying my house is 4200 sqft and one 2 ton unit and one 3 ton unit is not powerful enough for the house and he wants to ask for 5k discount because of that.

Then you pocket the arbitrage.Here is the power of real estate. 

We've been able to save enough to do something in the Southern California market, but realize our buying power with the capital can get so much more elsewhere.

After learning the business better I realized the power of creative financing. 

What this does is allow you to pay off your car payment  and take it from a $750 car payment to a $170 car payment (heloc payment) increasing your income by almost $600 and potential borrowing power for new mortgage to over $100K.  

If you go in there and have a track record of 100 deals a year, then you can talk turkey.
