The numbers I have generated are based on recent sales in the last 3-6 months from online sources such as Zillow, Realtor.com etc. 

There are still some good areas in Detroit.I would also suggest doing more research online and maybe pay a visit here to get a better idea of what areas meet your criteria.I can refer you to a few good connects that are experienced and reputable.Much success,

Do you currently use any software, like Quickbooks (desktop or online) or Xero?

I did a quick search online, the estimated cost to build a house is $100 / sq. ft (or higher).  

The class was an excellent way to prepare as it was in person and not online and I had a knowledgeable and charismatic instructor.

Do I do it online?

--identify and choose online rent payment system--verify mailing address--determine how to turn one mailing address into 2 apartment addresses through USPS--develop packet for new tenants with utility phone numbers, my contact info, etc.These are a few off the top of my head, and certainly not inclusive.
