Using VA's for Bookkeeping

I am wanting to really step up my automation in my business in the next month or so and know that bookkeeping needs to be on that list. Has anyone tried to automate this with a virtual assistant on Upwork for example? I saw there were several VA's that seemed highly qualified but wanted to know if anyone has seen success with it as of yet?

On a side note, what business management systems are you using to help keep your team together and your business automated?

Great point to hire someone that is experienced in the industry otherwise you are just paying for data entry. I own a virtual bookkeeping firm that works primarily with REIs. We have experience from working for Agents to the Property Management of residential and commercial properties, so we understand the challenges that real estate investor face. We also assist in cash flow management and Profit First implementation (in case you haven't hear of it, listen to podcast 165) so that you can build a financial strong business. You will not find this type of service through a VA, so find someone that understands you business and will guide you.
