LA property prices are completely out of control, and the amount of bids a house gets just tells me here is not the right market at the moment.

Hi All,Thanks for all the tips thus far... so I have 4 properties at the moment, all under my personal name; I read the LLC Vs Umbrella Insurance threads and decided to get $1mm Umbrella under my name, with each unit having its own separate insurance policy (300k liability each)..Now, I'm planning to get 1-3 more properties, but my Umbrella Insurance is saying that I will now need a commercial policy as it sounds like I'm running a full-time rental business, which is kinda true, though it's my side-gig atm (I'm in full-time finance). 

So I believe that the look can be deceiving in most unknown places, because even though some buildings were looking okay and near nice reliable places like a beautiful art museum, it can be bad.

The problem is that I am in Alaska at the moment and I am purchasing the house in Wisconsin.

@Jay Roque  agree with the above you may a tad undercapitlized at the moment take on a partner with capital get some expeirnce and capital then venture out on your own

I am recently married to a beautiful woman who has a love for real estate just as much as I do.

I guess that is the beauty of getting paid by credit card in advance for your service (at least for some anyway)!
