It turned out to be arson - revenge on a tenant (go figure) - but when the fire department was examining the integrity of building once the fire was extinguished, they found a body in the attic.

I think the reason is that your refi bank prefers not giving you a big, fat check, which makes them very nervous.

And managed to hoard so much stuff that there's a complex and full-bodied stench that pervades the whole house.
