I ALWAYS have separate pros inspect the roof, HVAC, structural (if something is seen that warrants it), sewer main (or, septic, including separate sewer scope for drainfield AND perk test), and water well (bacteria and pump flow, etc.), if not on public water. 

So from looking at it, how do you separate the expenses into different projects?

We all know NYC is insane with separation of trash/recycling and loves to issue fines.How much do people on here pay for trash sorting/ taking to the curb per month for a 2 family? 

A separate bank account that you only use to pay contractors and accept rent... 

I wouldn't give them anything else as collateral, especially a completely separate business.

I was told that both wouldn’t be a problem, and both items were fixed the following days.During the course of the work, I had additional potential work I had this contractor scope out, for which he sent me a separate email with those estimates and I ultimately decided not to proceed with that work.I paid my contractor throughout the period the work was completed (always within a day of him requesting payment), and the work finally was completed in May.

@Patrick J.I believe he compiles separate LLCs to the umbrella LLC and file a Signle LLC for the umbrella LLC.

Are the utilities separate.

I don’t know if the contracts are void, but I don’t see how either one of them could close unless the seller got the city to separate the property into two lots.
