Hi John,It's not always the case the bigger is better, but I think it is in this circumstance (with a few caveats).  

I think I'm finally going to do it thanks to watching all the inspiring bigger pockets videos on youtube.

As a younger person, for example, one might be more inclined to focus on the long-term game and holding assets or land for extended periods of time.Either way, take some time to listen to the bigger pockets podcast and read through the forums, and see what jumps out at you and piques your interest.

For LA, DWTN represents a small fraction so over all no biggie for the bigger picture unless you are invested in those projects.

What type of insurance are you putting on your (in my case) Two Family -do I need an umbrella policy ?

Now in our market of PDX from what a bigger PM told me that only manages apartments he said some of the new construction does have stress IE by the time they started them and with cost rises in labor and materials .. the rents are not hitting performa and or over build and rents have to be lowered to fill the units both stressing the owners .

but i feel that i dont get the great deals. and i dont get every deal that pops on the market and when i got it there is deals thets already on the market few dayscould someone pls refer me to a good agent who's friendly and understand the idea of the BRRRR strategythanks a lot bigger pockets
