I own a cleaning company in the Northern California but I am a member of a few networking groups with members all over the USA. 

We have a bit of experience investing in Illinois, Texas, Oregon, and California and would love to share ideas and network.

May be hard to find a tenant for that big of a unit.Some tips I would have is to screen new tenants properly, start forming a team and networking with not only real estate professionals (attorneys, accountants, brokers, handymen), but also local residents by attending the community meetings.

I am trying to start the network to get a team together with boots on the ground, but I know I will be taking some flights back and forth for a good amount of time in order to build that solid team!

Right now I'm just trying to get to know the community as well as network much as possible.

Referrals I think is the best way to often handle transactions outside your area of expertise and you want a network to do that in.
