Looking to get knowledge in mutli units, near chicaoland area

Hey How's it going?  I am from Waukegan, Illinois in my late twenties, working for a credit union at the moment. I do not own any property as of right now but am looking into pursuing to purchase a multi unit complex 2-4 in the near future once I am knowledgeable in the field.
