When we go to Maui, we usually stay near there, to be close to the boat ramp.

Unsure if it is important that you're based in California but might be a preference I have not discovered yet.I'm currently and plan to stay in the East Bay Area of California.I have some people in my network who are similarly in the same boat and looking for someone to assist them as well.

Ok well 1st off, you missed the boat, those areas have tripled or quadrupled or more over the last 10 years, NOT the place to buy if it was, I would be. 

I will likely have to spend a week or two at the property, which I'm planning for in April.For background: My market is a small river town 30 minutes north of Green bay, known for its fishing/boating/hunting and local ATV trails.

I also get a free lake house to use wile I'm doing maintenance and where I keep my boat and jet skiis and also make some money pretty much equal to one one of my long term rentals.

So I'm in the same boat helping out developers build and make loads of money.

The numbers look good but the repairs might sink the cash flow boat.
