I plan to fix it up while living in it, rent the other units/basement and flip it after a year or two or hold it as a rental.Also, I am game for any networking or meetup opportunities around Portland or online, if you are experienced or not I am always interested in grabbing coffee or a beer.

As of that time, my plan is to maintain my job as a construction worker for consistent revenue (have a family) and work real estate with most of my extra time (M-F late afternoon and evenings, Sat-Sun all day) While I will be doing real estate "part time" I will be able to put in close to 40 hrs/week.Once I am able to establish a base and feel comfortable in my earnings I will drop the construction and go full time.

Pros and cons are+ upgraded kitchen and bathroom+ large backyard+ quiet street, safe and well established neighborhood.+ den can be used for office+ the family room was a bedroom before with closet- no garage, two car carport- split level, the living room is downstairs- no formal dining room- location is far from public schools but close to a few private schoolsBTW, total available houses for rent on the market is 9 as of today. 6 are 3 bedroom house and they are all listed with higher $/sqft.
