Can I purchase the property and give him notice (90 days) to move out OR do I have to honor his current agreement and wait until his lease is up next August?

What are my rights in nj,can a seller put me all threw this and refused a closing ,what about my time and money I spent  for appraisals and inspection ,I gave notice to move,if I stay they want more rent, inconvenience to my family

Cross reference that to Facebook, craigslist or any rental place if you notice that turn over seems high.

BP,     My wife and I are going through our inspection report for a two family we have an accepted offer on and the inspector noticed that there are black soot like heat streaks staining above the baseboard heat in the bedroom and living room of rental unit. 

I've seen this on the fannie/freddie requirements before as well.

Can't always accommodate a guest when it comes as a short notice. 

This is 100% acceptable if your lender follows Fannie guidelines and doesn't have any OVERLAYS.

Hi Somdeb,If it were me, I'd background both and only put the Father on the lease.If the son is there for short periods I just wouldn't notice it.Good Luck!
