Bundled cable/internet service.I know of a large apartment complex close by that gets one large internet connection from a distributor (commercial) and probably pays 500-750/month for it.

electric has mostly been updated, new panel and service cable. some old circuits and a small bit of knob and tube. looks to be maybe 2 circuits. and they are in the basement so honestly not sure why they weren't pulled out other than the guy didn't want to spend extra money.

looking for thoughts on the following:i have an opportunity to get premium phone/cable service (i.e. all the bells and whistles) for a multi-family rental unit at a promotional rate. it seems that if i split the cost of the normal rate (rate that will be charged after a year) among the units of the property each unit would be paying a low cost for premium cable/phone that i am pretty sure tenants would otherwise not even consider purchasing (because of the outrageous costs). this would be a way to make a few extra bucks a month, and i would offer it as an option rather than build it into the lease (as rent including cable/phone service).

In closing I will tell you we had 18 roof top units on top of a 29 foot tall building that every coil was stolen in one night, that is two coils for each unit, they slid them down a cable into the truck.

I don't think it would be very profitable, having to provide for the demands of a discriminating homeless person....housekeeping, room service, cable tv, etc...God forbid the wireless internet goes down...

I felt if they charge me to enter, then only sell me, it is like paying for cable TV and all you get is Info-mercial channels.
