Are you a Member of your local REI Club?

I was curious about this. I see many people not wanting to be members of their local REI Clubs. I wonder why? You want to network, meet buyers, sellers, lenders, even get some education. Seems like the place to be?

So I am curious..

Are you a paid member of your local club? If so, do you find it is a good value?

If not, WHY NOT?

** Personally I laugh at people that say they don't want to pay the membership fee. Makes me wonder if a wholesaler can trust you to pay for a lead. Just a though on my end.

So people in Chicago, Dallas, Milwaukee, Indianapolis, Denver, Philadelphia, etc Illinois? Indiana? Wisconsin. want to know are you a member?

BiggerPockets maintains a directory of clubs. Have you attended them at least?

Thanks!

*********** one thing newbies may want to keep in mind is that REI groups are no place for wallflowers. Be friendly. Shake hands. Smile. Look people in the eye.
If people ask what your niche is, don't just stand there going " uhhhh, well, I'm not really sure." Know what you want.
Don't wait for people to approach you. Go up and introduce yourself!!
