Unfortunately, this is the primary reason I do not use third party vendors for rent payments, and I have posted on here a few times about this (usually when someone posts about a fraudulent clawback), despite the throng of enthusiasm for the continued use of these methods.Each one of my tenants is given a pre-designated bank account (idenitifed in the lease) to which they deposit rent. 

______My CPA did confirm over the phone that my general understanding is correct but I will be taking the advice and talking with a tax attorney and running the numbers in detail. 

It may be easier to offer the Tenant $6,000 to leave and be done with it.Unfortunately, many bad tenants have no fear of the legal system and they will continue to abuse this until you are run dry or the court finally forces them out.

They still are required to deposit one month's rent to the court within 5 days and continue to pay rent to the court monthly. 

Always open to talking investments and different strategies. 

I had already factored in self management...I’m just wondering how people do just continuing STR over the winter months.

Recently we've started talking about having a kid, probably sometime in the next year.

I'm looking to connect with other investors, wholesalers, and RE professionals to build relationships, talk shop, and/or find some deals!  

Real estate continues to be high where I am located and when I calculate the mortgage payment with 20% - 25% down, it only breaks even with the rent I could collect. 

I knew I was in the right place :) I will keep this in mind as my search continues Victor.
