I've joined the AOA and reviewed their lease agreement, but it seems like overkill, though I do like some of their addendums (bedbugs, plumbing etc).

They seemed a little sympathetic and it helped slightly, but I mostly just did whatever they said.What I learned is: If you pull a permit, don't do anything that isn't directly related to the permit until that work is done and inspected.
