They said it happens more than you think, (typically when logging or clearing land), and there were three ways to calculate the replacement value of the tree: First, what is the cost of buying a 20+ year old tree, transporting it and planting it in the same spot; Second, have a property assessment done showing the approximate loss to the property value based on the percentage of landscaping destroyed; Lastly, have an arborist come out and do a calculation where they "rebuild" the trunk based on the cost of a smaller tree of the same species.I went with the 3rd, as the other two just seemed unreasonably high.

Therefore, that makes it appealing to the masses who think and are led to believe it's the only way to exist in retirement.The turning point for me to stop contributing the max of my own money to my poor 403b plan just happened this year (in the land of public education, we have to use the equivalent of a 401k called a 403k plan.

My question is where can I get their property code book or rules for violations so that I maybe versed and fix things before inspection and if they should try and tell me otherwise I would have the local code enforcement booklet which should be made available to the public and landlords if your holding me responsible to standards.
