I am a beginner investor in the DFW area and I wanted to ask if I find a pre foreclosure deal on RealtyTrac can I contact the buyer and work out a deal (like a subject to) or do I have to contact the realtor?

@Mohsin Hirani, I am an investor and a foreclosure subject matter expert with a large bank.  You can contact the homeowner directly.  However, the homeowner has a contractual obligation with the realtor and the homeowner can't arbitrarily exclude the realtor and work out a deal with you. The homeowner would need to fire their realtor or the listing would need to expire before the homeowner can work out a deal with you.
