This is electric heat and it is very economical..about  60% of the cost for forced electric or gas heat etc

We also have a contractor that we know and trust.

So here's the story:The owner was a contractor who built 3 duplexes on his father in laws property around 1993, his father in law passed away and left them to his daughter/ current property owners wife.

Looking to connect with contractors.

My brother and I are a general contractor, specializing in SFR remodels. 

It is 6 months now and I get many escuses (Contractor from Insurance does not do the job, Contractor went broke, Seller is meeting with attorney General...)Is this a common situation ?

When  I worked as a licensed electrical contractor on more than one occasion I was called out by a first time flipper who almost succeeded in burning their whole structure down, and only  by chance did not succeed in getting someone killed. 

Between the POS, and the inspectors, and finding good reliable contractors it will be a nightmare for a newbie. 

I am also considering to go to Home Depot or Lows to get familiar with costs of material by myself and also get contacts of various contractors or handymans from my area so that I can just quick give them a call later and find out potential cost by discribing situations.
