What I don't know is anything about attracting guests to units that do not have these Class A finishing surfaces.

The building was in rough shape, and will undergo a full gut renovation that will include brand new framing, plumbing, electrical, and all finish work.

For most folks pointing their team toward the finish line is not an option.  

Long story short, I don’t want to, but the GC finds out about the reno unit, and offers to finish the work in exchange for housing his guy.I really like the idea of exchanging rent for labor, especially since I can’t do it myself while I am gone.

Now Im about to start the process of attaining my real estate license in the state of Texas and using the income from my real estate agent career to fund my future investing, but Im also so excited to beging building my business that I don't want to wait.

Already finished properties are more on the upfront end, cash, but can be very good investments.
