I am currently employed as a salaried financial advisor at a large company, but like many others in the corporate world, I am increasingly attracted to the idea of leaving the cubicle lifestyle, getting into the world of real estate, and achieving the American Dream, which to me entails traveling the world while I generate passive income from my rental properties.  

Years back I owned 3 properties with the help of a real estate agent friend but had to get rid of them as Uncle Sam had a different idea for me in the form of a couple of deployments.

I can't answer him at times.I think I have everything in a system but all that extra income than becomes another task to reduce it from uncle Sam who wants his share. not like his answering tenant phone calls!

@Sam Bhullar I don't need contractors to estimate every single house because I have a general idea of what things cost to repair anyway.

I see that its all based on the American market, I was wondering if there was anyone in here who has experience with European markets (mainly South of France)?
