In my humble opinion, once it's been approved, it would take a revolution to overturn it :(I am one of the probably hundreds if not thousands of small investors that got punched in the stomach real hard because of this situation, and I know there are several others out there (still ignorant to the fact) who will, eventually, have many sleepless nights because of this.I was very new and ignorant to real estate rules, laws and regulations when I started.

And is New Orleans a tennant friendly environment or a landlord friendly one?

We've both had some success in the corporate environment and we've decided to branch out to replace our income and grow a real estate business.

Statistically, with the tightened lending guidelines in the post Dodd-Frank environment, banks end up funding somewhere in the neighborhood of 65% of the loans that borrowers apply for.  

At the time I was just happy to be around an environment where I could be around like minded people and actually start being around the things I had read about in the investing books.

Let's promote an environment of networking and mentoring that cost us nothing and karma will reward you. 

Shouldn't there be stricter regulations on real estate licensees to protect the same "unsophisticated" buyer(s)?
