I am thinking of the risks and cons are:1) more utilities cost as landlord should pay for the heat2) if the heat doesn’t work in winter, the entire house becomes very cold and the risk of pipe exposure 3) if the heat doesn’t work in winter suddenly, do you think it’s landlord’s responsibility to find hotel for the tenants to live temporarily?

As I mentioned above, financing in Mexico for foreigners is much more complicated than in the US and you have to be careful because some mortgage products are purposefully packaged in a way that they look very cheap to the unsuspecting buyer when in reality they're extremely expensive.

And in New Hampshire where it gets very cold in winter usually the landlord pays for heat and we are responsible to make sure all tenants have heat at all times.
