@Michael Rodriguez If you are talking about capital gains (property gains is not a thing) then yes the owner would pay them if selling a property that is not their primary residence, or that they have not lived in for 2 of the last 5 years.

@Karen Rodriguez, It is the use of the property that is important not the source of the funds for the financing.
