It will be bright, clean and look fresh for the next buyer.

Better to put in new, fresh cabinets for just a little more money.  

Again, I have found it is easier to start fresh than it is to patch stuff in.

As in replace doors, doorframes, fixtures, baseboards, cracked drywall, repair/paint kitchen cabinets, and a fresh coat of paint.

That said, fresh carpet is 1000 times better than used carpet.

We gutted the kitchen and bathroom, brand new cabinetry, quartz countertops, replaced the washer / dryer, all new appliances, new flooring throughout the entire unit, and fresh coat of primer & paint on everything.

@Stephen Brown congrats on getting the deal done.While this deal is still fresh in your head, I encourage you to write down what went right with the deal and more importantly, focus on area that didn't go as you anticipated.Before going under contract on the next asset, adjust your DD timeline accordingly.

A lot of communities I’m in don’t have that many ‘all new’ flip type properties available, so the freshly updated offering results in multiple offers regardless of how similar it is.That being said - I’d be happy to hire or consult with an interior designer for $300-500, especially for kitchen or bathroom user design, but I don’t want that person recommending $2000 chandeliers or a new paint color for each room.

You can end up with a nice fresh white on your walls without re tiling.
