Upgrading Bathroom Tiles for Rental Property

Hey BPers,

I have a rental property that needs a little face lift before I put it on the market.  The bathroom has pink tiles that I am debating on gutting or painting.  Has anyone here painted tiles before and if so would you recommend it for a rental?  Or if this is your rental would you gut and redo?

I would like to stay in a budget of $1500.

Here is the tile painting website with a little info Green Refinishings
