Craigslist is  cesspool of scams.If you use property management software like TenantCloud (free to Landlord) it will market your rentals to a bunch of web sites with the click of a button. 

I guess I'm a little Leary cause there's just not a lot of info on him on the web?

There's a reason they have the money to spend on those expensive ad slots!

Trulia and Zillow have crime and school information, as do many other web sites.
