I own a small apartment building and looking to find someone who can take on occasional jobs, such as units turnovers and some relatively standard type maintenance work.

All of the houses in my area start at 350K+ and only return small figures of 1300 per month in rent.

Another expense you will need to account for IF you buy a small multifamily is that the owner is resonsible for cutting the grass.

I do own 2 small Multifamily properties but I don’t think they show that much profit on the tax returns.  

About $140k is our limit so we're looking for small homes and condos.

Community banks in the area of the property are always a good place to start on small projects like this.

Without getting into all of the details, it's an expensive proposition for a small duplex.Although seemingly better suited for large properties, I looked into a submetering system as an alternative.  

The size is a bit awkward (think: looks big enough for an island but is actually just too small to logistically have one).
