My interests began recently when my girlfriend moved 3 hours away for Law School at Queens University.

My name is Matt Sullivan, I am currently a Senior at Clemson University.

I plan to get the credits and classes finished to allow me to transfer to the University of Texas.Real estate is definitely where I see my future heading and I want to learn everything I can, if I am to take classes at ACC which type of classes would you recommend I take?

Interested in student housing as there are 2 Universities located near me in Tampa, Fl.Graduated from college a few years ago and basically have no credit history.  

Thanks all for your input and opinions, greatly appreciated.I also heard that Kissimmee, Orlando is a great location for short term rental for its  proximity to world Disney and universal studios but I don't now about their restrictions, any thoughts?

My initial strategy was to focus on 2bd 2ba within a 2mile radius of a college or university.

I think the reason we have had such success here in Modesto despite our total lack of skills (seriously, I can't hang a freaking picture) is our wonderful jack-of-all-trades handyman and a gift-from-the-universe plumber.  

As far as what the guys on the podcast were doing, (adding value to properties by adding rooms)  There may be opportunities in the old student ghetto area let's say North of University Ave, west of 6th street up unitl 13th and perhaps a little west.
