Here is some extra info...The house movers have assured me that this will go smoothly, as my farm is connected to the commercial property and they are only moving it 500 yards or so (no power lines etx).

Any investment strategy that required more work and/or more risk will always outperform the alternative.But things also have to go smoothly for the end result to be better.A property that requires work will require contractors to perform the work.Will you be able to find a qualified contractor at an affordable rate that won't run away wth the money?

If you are not a "board game player", you can just come for the food and networking.

This is not a matter of hiding the assignment but a matter of creating a smooth transaction for all parties.

Plant 100% soybeans next year so ground is smooth and easy to plant grass seed into.  

Other than this issue, the tenants have been wonderful so I'd like to resolve this as smoothly as possible for both sides. 

Also any advice/tips on things to look out for regarding a smooth transition would be great.

Both need to understand that our relationship flows smoothly when you're prepared.
