Be sure to get everybody’s social security number and have in your lease you will report any negativity.I believe that most attorneys would highly suggest the parents sign the lease as guarantees.

Let go after 18 years and 5 years before social security eligibility.

My goal for retirement is pretty simple: my rental houses will be free and clear in about 5 years (using my own cash and private money with a 5 year straight amortization) for monthly income, my 401K for passive income which I can continue to grow even in retirement, and social security (if there is any left for me:):).

Fed is under social security, if on SS retirement her income can be reduced but not her medical benefits, if SS is under disability benefits she could lose both due to income.
