I'm all for investing but you've got to figure in something so you don't lose your shirt.I guess you could consider your 401k as a worse case scenario emergency fund. and those who are posting about no $ down deals, etc on here - well, that's the exeption rather than the normal.perhaps @jon holdman can chime in on this subject.
