There's a lot of historical homes in the downtown area that have been converted to businesses, with restaurants, small pubs, etc. accessible from the sidewalks.The big Deschutes River runs through the entire region and has people floating, paddleboarding, etc. in summers.

regardless, it seems like the steam valve on the other side of the radiator is malfunctioning - its supposed to let cool air escape so steam can get into the radiator then shut off when it heats up from escaping steam.
