@James Clements, once you're approved up to a certain dollar amount, you may find it VERY difficult to resist paying too much for your property, and/or paying too much for the rehab.The "I can afford it now" mentality can be a menace.

I am talking about SERIOUS building code violations,SERIOUS fire violations(smoke alarms that have not worked in 8 years, right from the mouth of their own maintenance man, and that was told to them 4 MONTHS ago and they still have NOT fixed them).There are also VERY serious health code violations that have been complained about for a YEAR and he has done NOTHING.
