Think about how you advertised the unit and your rental criteria... are you thinking of bending your criteria for this applicant and not for others?

Raising the slab and placing it on top of piers introduces bending and one-way and two-way (punching) shear into the equation, which the slab was not designed for.

If they will only look at the property or drop off the application Thursday at 2pm I don't bend over backwards to meet their timeframe. 

Or are you going to bend the knee and ask me for help, which I would happily provide to you at no cost!

(this is huge, as city officials are often dealing with complaints and people wanting them to bend the rules for them- if you say that you are on their team, they are much more willing to help you) They will usually share a lot at this point.After they share what they know, ask if they are aware of any city or county tax incentives for multifamily.

I personally like to be able to get into all the units even though I have a property manager for my 20 unit in South Bend.
