I am interested in the answer too, but here is my idea - advertise them.  

Some frequent posters on BP openly advertise this (under a fake screen name like cowards).I would be thankful you are NOT renting from this landlord.

Each one gets a nice metal pen with my advertising. 

If I advertise the double wide rental before we move it, will we be able to count more of the expenses as tax deductions as though it is in service?

Two of my listings in February/March were advertised with seller paid concessions.

All three were rented through there management company within 3 weeks of being advertised and I am now getting a very healthy rental income.
