We do have standardized tests that measure student performance as required by NCLB and state law.Agreed, most teachers I know don't like that standardized test but not because of any threat to their job.

I assumed the worst on the first one and budgeted for extensive work and on the second one I brought along my compressor and did my own testing to locate the leak.

You can't test drive any of the cars before bidding on them, although you are allowed to inspect them before the auction.

This has given me a good base to start and also other strategies to test and see what is most effective for my area.
