Personally I’ve never considered a new property but I am seriously considering doing a 1031 exchange in to the DR Horton new builds north east of the Aliante casino.

BP had an interesting article: https://www.biggerpockets.com/...The barrier to entry may be a little higher than the Ohio market, but having Casinos, the Gulf of Mexico, Keesler Air Force Base, the Seabee base, and Stennis Space Center make this more appealing to me than the other budget markets.

I was thinking of renting out the home and in addition to send $800-$900 to the principle in order to bring down the loan until I’m able to refinance at a better interest rate and get legit cash flow going.What do you guys think of this approach?

They are NOT a legit Company and would stay clear of of working with them.  

Amex took the money, but before they would credit my account, the wanted to " verify" that the Axos checking was legit via 3 way call.

Rather do things legit and see what the broker says.So as an investor isn't it more beneficial to not have a license?

And PS we just sold our property right up the road from you in Rohnert Park we had 4 acres across from the Graton Casino I bought in the mid 90s  LOL

Window world offered us $200 a window with a lifetime warantee (including tenant-broken glass).We ended up just repairing the windows in that apartment (see my blog), but it seemed like a good deal if they're legit.

Both avenues have legit value!

Is there any way that I can find out if their Emergency Assistance is legit and will be sending me a check?
