It really depends on how desperate you are to sell quickly- you can definitely save money, but it’s a bit of a gamble.

One of my favorite condo communities in the city last year voted to ban renting-out of the units. . . they are now an "owner only complex" . . . which dropped the market value of the units about 15% over a few months.
