Basically the bill just gets stuck on the other homeowners account with interest accruing and at some point in time they try to sell or refinance the unit and it needs to be paid off. 

I am a buy and hold investor looking to buy a small single family home that at most needs major cosmetic work done.

Keep this credit card forever, as the longer you have an open account, the better your credit score is.In real estate, you are better off "house hacking" by renting a large apartment or house and renting out your extra rooms to roommates. 

I am sure there are some DST Sponsors charging 15-20%, in my experience the fees are closer to an average of 7.5%-10% in total; not a single Broker Dealer fee.

Sometimes, when I have credit pulled, it displays some DSCR loans but not others (credit bureaus are a black box), however, the mortgage payments are just reported to the credit bureaus to account for late payments (which plays into conventional financing eligibility), but they do not play into a borrower's personal debt-to-income ratio when qualifying for conventional loans.

If the market or a single buyer is offering you the above at a price that under values the property in whole then buy.

Even if the hold period is longer,  I would argue you would need similar timeline if you invested today in single family homes , stocks or generally any other type of investment.
