I plan on doing small renovations like painting, new floors, and new light fixtures ect.

Don’t put laminate flooring in a kitchen (or any other damp area).

Mine includes roof 25 year life span, floors 10 year life span, appliances and hot water heater 12 year life span, hvac 20 year life span, etc.

Painting ceilings is the worst type of painting in my opinion.It is the slowest because of the distance your roller has to travel from the ceiling to the tray on the floor each pass, you get paint drips not overspray dust on your face and your neck kills after about 30 minutes.
