For someone who wants to live in the country or near family, etc. there is usually nothing decent to rent.

My company is currently looking for Investors out of our state and possibly out of our country!

That being said, you need to have a car (in most parts of the country).

I also like to stick to the philosophy of investing what/where you know so have been looking in areas that would be impacted if there was a significant change in direction.I'm interested in the communities insights into the implications for real estate investment in cities around the country and also specifically Houston.  

Let's split this country in half and dominate all within the power of BP.  

But Texas is very solid and will not fall dramatically like some other parts of the country will.

2)  I can't speak to all areas of the country, but in my experience VA interest rates are the lowest rates you can find.  

Any 3-plex in comparable condition and location would set the floor for a 4-plex.It's a competitive market everywhere in eastern MA.  

I am currently stationed across the country so I can't physically go look at any of the properties.
