This year, I would like to really focus on learning real estate as much as I can, network with real estate-minded people, hopefully find mentors, and make my first deal (Small Multi-Family with intent to House Hack as I am renting right now).

Also, multifamilynw is a great local network of landlords and an advocacy group who have Oregon specific forms. 

I'm looking to expand my networking list - how can I find meetups in my areas? 

Looking forward to networking with local investors and professionals in the area and continue expanding on my knowledge through BP.

I would like to make that more of a priority in my life and as such my investment strategies should allow me to work from anywhere in the world.In terms of why I joined Bigger Pockets, I feel it is a great resource to network and develop connections as well as an awesome educational platform.

Read, lots of research, network, due diligence and lastly google and YouTube become more your best friends when first investing.Good luck and lots of good fortune :)
