Would it still be mortgage fraud if I stayed with family during the week and went home to my property on weekend?

I make more having him there 5 nights than just 2 on the weekend but this made me curious.

@Heinz Mikat I just put my 4 plex in bellevue under contract this weekend.

Find out what market rents are for those units in the two areas, etc.That will give you an idea of some of the different numbers on paper.But also be sure to actually drive through the areas, ideally both during the week and on the weekend, during the day and at night, to get a feel for the areas.

Then the roofing tarps shredded over a high wind weekend.

The duplex is in another town, so I'll only be there on weekends. 

Holiday weekends I can be considerably higher than other properties but due to the massive amount of 5 star reviews I have on Vrbo I get booked at my higher rates.I'm not sure if you can create a listing with Vrbo or Airbnb as they should be verifying ownership.I would contact the management company and explain the situation and try to negotiate retaining those bookings if they haven't been cancelled already.
