Hello to all! I was not looking for real estate when I found it. In fact it was the last thing on my mind. My father had just recently passed away and I was administering his estate. He had few properties most of which were very neglected. Long story short I decided to finish what my father had started. I took the house I grew up in and decided to turn it into my first fix & flip. While successful I was emotional attached and a fix and flip turned into and full on renovation. Additions, open floor concepts ect. as I debated moving in with my family and living mortgage free. I learned a ton and the house sold at asking price 3 days after the listing. From there I added a rental to my resume. I was a bit overwhelmed from the last project. So I rehabbed the property replaced all the mechanical items so in my mind i was making it "bullet proof" in hopes to avoid repair calls in the middle of the night. Since then I have acquired another rental and learned about BRRR deals and hope to use the method to continue to move forward. I sort of miss the fix and flip but my primary focus is on rentals. Single family and small multi family units.

I started out feeling my way through now I am on a mission. I figure if I have gotten this far on my guts who knows how far I can get once I really educate myself on the finer nuances of real estate. I am seeing it's potential and only scratching the surface of how to utilize it for myself, I hope to learn, grow and step out of my comfort zone to find success and network with other like mind investors.
